The School District of Poynette joined the JEDI Virtual Charter School Consortium in the fall of 2021 to allow resident students to attend JEDI Virtual School through the School District of Poynette. JEDI is a fully accredited 4K-12 Virtual School taught by Wisconsin certified teachers.
As full-time Poynette School District students, virtual students enrolled in JEDI will remain eligible to receive student services, special education services, IT support, as well as be able to fully participate in all Poynette School District activities and athletics. For graduation, Poynette students attending JEDI will also earn a Poynette diploma once district requirements are met.
If you are interested in learning more about our JEDI Virtual School option for resident students contact your child’s principal. (If your student has an IEP or a 504 plan, a team meeting is required to consider placement in JEDI.)
