Puma Cross Country
Head Coach: Kevin Frehner Assistant Coach: Jenny Cross
Cross Country is a running sport offered at the High School grades 9-12 during Fall. It involves competing in races over distances that are usually around 2 miles (3.22 km) long. These races take place on natural terrain, like grass fields or trails, instead of tracks. High School Cross Country is a great way for young athletes to:
- Build endurance and running skills
- Develop teamwork and sportsmanship
- Improve overall fitness
It's a welcoming sport for beginners and experienced runners alike.
