• Registration for swimming lessons will begin on April 21 at 3:00 PM and will conclude on May 2 at 3:00 PM. Once the registration period has ended, families can reach out to Poynette Elementary at 608-635-4347 or contact Sarah Santas, the Summer Swim Lesson Coordinator, at ssant@poynette.k12.wi.us to inquire about summer swimming registration, provided there are available spots.
   
  Swimming Lessons will be offered June 16 to July 31 with 4 separate lesson sessions. Swimming lessons are free for residents and $30.00 for non-residents. Most swimming level lessons run in half-hour segments. Levels 4 and 5/6 stroke development are 45-minute lessons. All lessons in every daytime session are hosted Monday-Thursdays. There are no swimming lessons on Fridays.
   
  For the safety of our swimmers and their instructors, we have smaller class sizes for swimming lessons. Space is very limited. Submit your swimming lesson requests within the window of time allotted to secure your spot. After the registration window closes, we will adjust the course offerings as much as possible to accommodate as many families as possible, given the safety parameters we have in place for our community. We appreciate your understanding. 
   
  Summer Swimming Lessons 2025
• Session 1 - June 16-June 26  (Afternoon sessions 1:00pm-4:00pm)
• Session 2 - June 16-June 26 (Night sessions 5:00- 7:00 pm)
• June 30-July 4 the pool is closed
• Session 3 - July 7 - July 17 (Morning session 8am-Noon)   
• Session 4 - July 21 - July 31 (Morning session 8am-Noon )
• Swim Classes are held on Monday through Thursday. 
• The pool is closed Fridays.
• All swim lessons are 8 sessions for 30 minutes.
• There is No-Fee for residents; but a $30 fee for non-residents

The 2025 Summer Swimming Lesson Schedule will help families plan which sessions and lessons you would like  to register your children in.  Descriptions of the swimming lesson levels can be found in our swimming lesson section of  our website.  After reviewing the swimming lesson schedule, log into Infinite Campus and request those lesson sessions via the portal. Families must have a Campus Portal account to register for swimming lessons.  Follow the directions for swimming lesson registration in the same way as families registered for summer school. See the Summer School Registration page for detailed directions, including a step by step directions sheet. Or you may watch these video directions. Swimming lesson registration opens April 24. After this date, families will need to contact Mr. Ferkovich at jferk@poynette.k12.wi.us or 608-635-4347x411 to register their children for swimming lessons. 
 
Families with in-district children, not of school age, that would like to partake in swimming lessons, will need to complete a 2025 Summer School Registration form. To register your not of school age child for swimming lessons, contact the Poynette Elementary Office at 608-635-4347 or Mr. Ferkovich at 608-635-4347x411
 
Out-of-district children may enroll in the Instructional Swim Lessons for $30.
