Noetic Learning Math Contest
In November 2016, 129 students of Poynette Elementary in grades 2 through 5 participated in the Noetic Math Learning Contest. The Noetic Contest is an individual national math test of 20 questions. The questions are very challenging and require high levels of problem solving and out-of-the-box thinking. Those who scored in the top 10% nationally are rewarded with medals, and the top team member of each grade who scored the highest in Poynette is rewarded with a medal as well. Those who scored in the top 50% nationally are recognized on the noetic website, www.noetic-learning.com.
