Our high school standards-based learning experience provides students with the building blocks to succeed. We work to provide a guaranteed and viable curriculum that meets the diverse needs of our students at all grade levels. This student-centered learning experience is rich in a variety of learning opportunities including advanced placement options and youth options courses. Our high school curricula helps our students realize their talents and sets them on the path to be college and career ready.
STEAM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Art and Mathematics) learning tools are integrated throughout the curricula. Stem, Technology Education, Spanish, Band, Choir and art courses offer students opportunity to explore technologies, world languages, cultures and artistic expression. We offer electives in engineering, bio-sciences, agriculture, business education, fine arts and visual arts. We provide students with the tools needed for success in school. Reading and writing is integrated in all facets of the high school curricula. Intentionally integrating these key skills for success in all facets of our high school helps our students analyze, infer & cite specific evidence to support conclusions in our Science, Social Studies and Math courses; a skill that is necessary to be college and career ready. Partnerships with our community businesses provide our students with rich learning experiences in business environments.
Students have opportunities to work both collaboratively and independently in their school courses. Our diverse opportunities for co-curricular learning experiences and clubs also allow our students to explore their interests and expand their potential. These unique experiences include a competitive Ice Fishing club, the Literary Arts Club, Conservation Club, Science Olympiad, Drama, Equestrian and Curling.
