The School District of Poynette recently concluded our Vision 2020 plan which resulted in improved student achievement outcomes and upgraded facilities. In our continued pursuit of excellence, we will always constantly strive to improve our programs for every student. This pursuit requires us to reflect on current progress and plan for the future. Throughout the fall a representative group of stakeholders participated in a process that resulted in the formation of the District's next Strategic Plan that will shape the priorities of the district through the year 2030.
The first part of our process involved multiple community groups (staff, business leaders, families, and students) coming together to identify important issues and trends that shape our schools, families, and community. Participants worked in small groups to review current school data and then collaborated with fellow stakeholders to identify priorities for our schools. The responses from these initial meetings were organized and analyzed and a smaller representative group came together to provide a structure that identified the community priorities for our schools. This group met in 2022, during the months of September and October, and provided the framework from which School Administration used to set the goals and priorities that make up our Strategic Plan.
Our website provides a summary of the process that our community engaged in to develop the Strategic Plan. Refer to the subcategory links on the left side menu to learn more about a review of our meetings, our pillars of focus and finally, our strategic plan. Each meeting event and its details is listed on the left menu bar.
Our Strategic Plan centers around creating safe, supportive learning spaces for all of our students and our staff. Thank you for your continued support of our schools and the learning community.
