Assessment Resources

There are a number of required state and national assessments that must be administered throughout the school year to gauge student understanding. In addition, we conduct in-district initial and progress monitoring assessments to help us best serve the needs of all of our students. 

Our Assessment schedule explains the purpose of the assessment, which students are assessed and the frequency in which it occurs. It is important to understand that the assessments we conduct are just one test at one point in time. It does not measure the overall  intelligence of  a student or a student’s capacity for learning. When making important decisions about students, our school staff will consider the test results along with other data, such as classroom performance, other test scores and input from those that work with and observe the student.
